Power Factor
Input Data
- Bullet Weight
- Weight of the bullet.
- Caliber
- Diameter of the bullet
- Muzzle Velocity
- The velocity of the bullet as either (1) measured at some distance
from the muzzle (see applicable rule book for measuring methods)
Output Data
- Power Factor
- Calculated power factor (Weight*Velocity)
- Power Factor (IPSC)
- Calculated power factor (Weight*Velocity/1000). NOTE:
The IPSC rules specifically state that the power factor is not to be rounded
upward. All digits after the decimal place are dropped.
- Divisions
- Below the power factors are the individual divisions
within a discipline. Next to each is a "Yes" or a "No". If "Yes", the
caliber, weight and velocity make power factor for that division. If "No",
it does not.
